Hello Recently i upgraded my rig to:
MB: X58A-UD7 (Got a rev1.0 mb)
CPU: Intel i7-950 D0
Ram: Corsair Dominator DDR3-16000 8-8-8-24 1.65v qpi 1.35
VGA: 2X Palit GTX460 768MB SLI
I overclocked my CPU to 4.0GHZ and the lowest Vcore to get it stable was 1.343V (Bios Setting with LLC2) It passed 4h Linx and 24h Prime95 anything less fails. The problem is Realtemp recored as max temps the following: Core0:88 Core1:84 Core2:83 Core3:80C
Currently im using Hydro H70 Cooler with AS-5 TIM. I tried to reset the Block even reapplied TIM after i cleaned the old one. Well basically i tried everything but my temps seem high after some research i did i should be at 78-80 to the highest core with that heatsink im using. My room temps are 25-27degree. My case is Coolermaster NVIDIA edition with 5 Noctua P12 Fans ( 2roof, 1front,1side,1bottom). Im using HT on since i found it to perform better overall in my system. Without HT on my temps go like 10-12degrees down. So are these temps acceptable or something is wrong here?
