  • Problems with 1st time overclock (e8500, EP45-UD3P, F2-8500CL5D)

2 days of research has taught me a lot, but I still can't seem to have any luck with this setup.
    I have an E8500 on a Gigabyte EP45-UD3P and 4gigs of F2-8500CL5D(5-5-5-15, 2.0v-2.1v).
I've been told that the most basic oc I should be able to do is up the fsb to 400, but this fails.
I can't even get the smallest quickboost to take in Easy Tune 6. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If any stats/settings are needed i will gladly provide. Thanks

Please read this post and follow steps 1-4 to provide some more information about your system.
Follow the suggestions for manual stock settings to get the system stable at stock 1st.

Using atest BIOS is recommended, at least official if you don't want to use beta.

400MHz FSB should be easy for the CPU and board.
