  • Sudden LAN problem with EX58 UD4P after internet was reconnected

I finally paid my internet bill after being disconnected for a few days and everything but my desktop was up and running. So i went into bios and saw the LAN MAC Address read N/A in System Information. After seeing this I Q-Flashed the bios unfortunately im still getting nothing in the LAN info field. And im really hoping its not a hardware issue. Any suggestions would be great .

Please try clearing your CMOS for a few minutes, if that does not help try clearing it overnight while you sleep.

If that does not help I'd advise you update to the latest BIOS, but if you don't want to try flashing the BIOS again from Qflash and this time be sure you set "Keep DMI Data" to disabled before you flash.

Then when done with the flash reboot and enter the BIOS and load optimized defaults, then save/apply/reboot F10 BACK to the BIOS. This time, before you check the MAC, be sure to set your SATA/Disk settings again, then check MAC addresses.
