I'm putting a system together and after I got every thing hooked up I plugged in the system and turned on the power supply.
It started off odd or badly right away. When I turned the power supply on all the system fans powered up I have power to the DVD drive however I never turned the system on from the tower which is the first odd thing. I have no post activity no video whats worse is that the Dr. Debug does not show any codes. The code is a 0 (sort of) it is not even a full 0 the the right led panel has 3 of the 4 segments lit so it looks like a 3/4 0. The tower power buttons do nothing and the only way to shut it down is to turn off the power supply.
What worries me the most is that the system powers up without having to push the power button on the tower.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
