GA-P55A-UD3 Overclock bios questions w/ 875k concerning dynamic voltage

Hi. I'm using a Ga-p55a-ud3 board with an i7 875k processor.

My question is this. I can't seem to get dynamic voltages to work once I manually into a cpu vcore. Is there anyway to do so?

I have the latest bios f11. Thanks. I also have load line calibration on.

The reason I ask is because I want to keep my idle power draw as low as possible even when overclocked. Prior to overclocking, the voltage would be about 0.8v when idle and ramp up to 1.28 on load. Once I manually put in an voltage, it no longer will drop to the 0.8v when idle and will simply idle at the manual number. Please assist.

Note: I know there's a way to use auto/normal cpu vcore and add voltage via dvid, but I can't seem to get dvid unlocked on this board. it's blue and doesn't give me the option to add. Please assist!

Is it still disabled if you select normal vcore?

The only way dvid adjustment unlocked is by setting cpu voltage to normal in cpu voltage list,set it to normal and make a note of what voltage it uses,then post here
To set the right amount of dvid you need to find the max stable cpu voltage and find what normal cpu voltage uses in bios and set the difference between the two amounts in dvid,post what normal used and ill tell you what to set
