    Re: bsod again

124 error means not enough qpi/vtt voltage, try one or two clicks more from what it is now and re test

slowly increase it. It all depends on cpu and ram.. bump it up 1 or 2 notches then test.

Your hardware is fine, you always have to tweak things,if it blue screens again try two clicks more qpi voltage but I think you'll be fine now

if is the same bsod then keep increasing...

If it is a different one then look at my sig there is a link for most bsod error codes and depending on which one it is there is the correction listed.

Edit- if you ever have a question about your settings. Please grab a template from my sig and fill it out with the current settings that you are using. We will have a better idea how we can help or what setting could be out.

Yes it is always advised to manually set voltages do not let auto set them for you. Main Voltages to set manually are Vcore, qpi/vtt vdimm. There are some others but they are the main ones that should never be left on auto.

BFBC2 ( and punkbuster ) have a problem with EasyTune6. Do not run ET6 at all when running BFBC2 and I think your BSODs will go away. This fixed it for me.

If running stock settings. You should be able to run voltages at stock also. Thats in a perfect world. You can try setting Vcore to normal and dvid to +0.0000. this will use the cpus default vcore and alow it to drop at idle. Test with a stress test program like LinX or Prime95 for stability. Its advise to find the lowest voltage while maintaining stability.
