Gigabyte X58A-UD3R + 12gb (2x 3x2GB Corsair Dominator C7 1600mhz DDR3) Crashing

Hey,

As the heading states, I'm having some trouble with a X58A-UD3R (2.0) and two sets of
Corsair Dominator CM3X2G1600C7D, my CPU is a stock i7 930 @280ghz.
I'm sure that the RAM itself isn't faulty it got fully tested till we discovered that there was a faulty RAM slot in the previous 1.0 board. The 2.0 is Brand new.

My issue is that without fail (even with one or two sticks in instead of the full 6) my computer will crash and reboot after about 10 mins of uptime, generally faster with games.
I think that the issue is the RAM timings but I can't be sure and I don't know enough about overclocking to want to do any solo fiddling, so any information would be appreciated.

My BIOS settings are as follows. (A few omissions)

I can update the other subsections if you wish, these just seemed the most important to me at the time.

Also, despite flashing the BIOS, it still has cold-boot problems on occasion.
Any help would be appreciated :)

Try qpi link on 44x set dram voltage according to ram and qpi/vtt voltage to 1.38v,set uncore freq to twice the memory multiplier and add one to it

I'm not sure what the you meant in regards to the DRAM.
And as for the QPI/VTT, the closest is 1.375 or 1.395, i'd presume either of those?

EDIT: I sat with 1.375V on the QPI/VTT, DRAM is still at 1.660V, will update in about 20 minutes on whether it crashes or not.

ran in system OK, crashed in Crysis Warhead (max detail).

EDIT: One thing I could note was that it cut off the background sound of loading the level for about 3 seconds before crashing, but I could still hear other sounds out of game.

Try with 1.395v qpi,you will need a lot with 12 gb,also try looser ram timings of 8 8 8 24

You might need even more,try 1.4 or 1.42 qpi voltage

1.415 failed so I attempted 1.435 and still failed.

Please grab a copy of a bios template for your system from my sig, and fill it out completly. There might be some other setting that is wrong that you are not listing. PLease fill it out with the settings that are currently set.

I would suggest try testing each stick of memory with Memtest86+ This program will tell you if you have problems with your ram.

Your problem may not be ram or it could be. I noticed that you are using LOADLINE 2 at stock settings??? why?? You should have it off or LLc1.

You have memory multi set to auto... pick a number if you set memory multi to 10x you also have to set uncore multi to 2x or 2x+1 or +2 of memory multi for a uncore of 20x, 21x, or 22x,

First go into bios and load optimized defaults. Press F10 to save and reboot renter bios and then make changes again. these values should be 800/900.

Assuming DRAM - 1.66

Still crashing up to 1.535 where it bluescreened me, trying again

EDIT: Just Bluescreened and the BIOS crapped itself, set back to Version FE

You shouldn't need more than 1.5v qpi imo,you could just have a badly matched set,try with 1.4v qpi and try at a lower ram speed,you might not be able to reach 1600mhz
