  • Z68 Extreme 4 - Can't load RAID configuration utility

I'm trying to set up my two HDs in a RAID, but I can't get the UEFI to go into the RAID configuration utility. The instructions I've read seem to indicate that after connecting the drives to the proper SATA ports (SATA3_0 and SATA3_1 in my case), you need to set the SATA Mode to RAID. After saving and rebooting, it looks like I'm supposed to see a prompt to hit Ctrl-I to enter the RAID configuration utility. I never see this prompt, and hitting Ctrl-I during startup does nothing.

I've updated the UEFI to the latest version (1.4), and even tried going down to 1.3, but nothing is working. Am I doing something wrong, or is this motherboard simply not giving me the option to configure a RAID array?

there might an option within the bios to display or hide the 'press ctrl+i' selection. look in the manual for that option.
