  • Questions on P67A-UD3P-B3 Rev.

Hi all at Tweaktown, 1st post here, hope you are well.

I have some questions regarding my Mobo that I cant seem to find anywhere, firstly I seem to have a small V-droop issue that I think is hampering my O/C, at the moment I have my cpu volts set at 1.32v, yet when I run prime95, hardware monitor shows it @ 1.30v, as soon as I revert back to idle state it bumps upto 1.32v. At the moment it is prime stable at 4.21 ghz, though I would like to get my volts lower to somewhere about 1.28v, but that would mean when under load it would be running at 1.26v, This 0.02v V-droop is annoying me and I am not sure on how to fix this!? In the screenshot you can see what I mean about the V-droop.

I am also a bit miffed as to the why I cant set the BCLK to 100 manually, when I try to set it via Bios, It shows up as 99.8 even though I set it to 100 and if I leave it on auto it shows at 100.3, Cant really understand how I can get this to operate @ 100? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Also, are these temps ok? ambient temp is prob about 24c-25c and what is the TMPIN0 doing with that high of a temp? Faulty sensor?

      Re: Questions on P67A-UD3P-B3 Rev.

Can't you set 1.30v for 1.28v under load? Try loadline calibration? There's all different levels to reduce vdroop

        Re: Questions on P67A-UD3P-B3 Rev.

With This board, LLC can only be enabled or disabled, though I have found that using dynamic Vcore and setting the cpu voltage to normal allows me to adjust the voltage that way, So if I have a normal voltage setting of lets say 1.34, I can use Dynamic V-core to decrease the voltage by 0.06v to give me 1.28v, although this does not eradicate my V-droop completely, it makes it more closer, Now I am I only 0.01v less than my normal voltage of 1.28, So under load it reads as 1.274v as opposed to the normal reading of 1.283v. I think I have gone as far as I can this issue and will live with the small V-droop.

Edit: Any Ideas on the BCLK issue or is it ok to leave as is?

I get vdroop also but I don't bother with llc,I'm clocked through dvid like you and I just up voltage to compensate for vdroop,

EDIT,I don't know about bclk, does that mb have CPU spread spectrum? Maybe you need to enable it? Or maybe the c power saving states are affecting it?

the mobo dont have CPU spread spectrum, although it may be called something else, anyway not hassled about the BCLK as it was like this at stock and it is only .2 under 100 set manually, if I leave it on auto, bios shows it at 100 but it sets at 103, I read on OCUK that the BCLK for Sandy bridge needs to be set at 100, so I set it at 100 and it shows as 99.8.
