  • Asrock Vision 3D eSata problem

    Hi all,

I've just purchased a new eSata external HDD and cable for use on my Vision 3D. However, after plugging in the cable to the HDD and eSata slot on the back of the computer, I can't get Windows to detect the drive. Everything works fine when I connect using USB2. I am using Windows 7 64.

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for testing or troubleshooting the connection? It may be that the cable I bought was DOA, as I don't really have any way of testing it other than on the HDD I bought at the same time.

I'm sure I'm doing something stupid, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks,

    Justin
