      Dear gammerx,

Debug code shows A6, it maybe caused by your SATA device.
Please kindly refer to below suggestions for testing.
      1. Clear CMOS to try.
      2. Re-install the SATA HDD and ODD to try.
      3. Change SATA cables to try.
      4. Only install the necessary device of the system to try. ( CPU, a stick memory, VGA card, a HDD)
      5. Install the SATA HDD to other SATA ports to try.
      6. If the problem still cannot be solved, please kindly remove all SATA device and enter "F2" to BIOS to check whether system enter to BIOS normally.

      Thanks for your support.

      Have a nice day

I actually had no HDD plugged in. Tomorrow I will reset CMOS and use a HDD and see what happens and will get back to you thanks :]

            Dear gammerx,

We did the test, but we cannot see the symptom like yours.

Please kindly contact your local dealer to check your system.

            Thanks!

              Re: ASRock extreme4 970 Error 10?

              Yeah its G.SKill ram 2x4gb ddr3 1333 ripjaw. model ends in 8GBRL

So I retested everything. Sockets A1 and A2 don't work but if I have 1 stick in B1 or B2 it works (both sticks worked in both Bs but not in As)

Is the RAM controller the mobo or CPU? Obviously the A1 and A2 slots are defective so I am thinking its the motherboard. Also when I am in the BIOS for like 20 seconds I get the debug code "0d" and it freezes so I have to restart.
