  • windows asked me to reactivate. after overcloclocking and new divers

    I am not a noob when it comes to computers at all i have been bilding them for years for my self and friends
    today I got something i thought i would never get

    windows asked me to reactivate. windows again. all i did was overclock to 4.4 and update nvidia driver and I was told windows has dedected new hardware please activate I said ok no big deal there i am running a real copy of windows 7.
    when i clicked nect it asked me to nuy a new key are call a automated number I daid you got to be kidding me

    I have fix the problem just wanting to know has anyone else had this happen

    just so you dont ask all my program are licensed copies fully paid in full

    Depends what hardware you add,I've had it happen when I switched mb's,any major hardware change and it will ask you to re activate,never had it with oc or drivers yet but if it affect major components then I guess it would ask you

      thats just it I did not add any hard ware

          Sometimes this can happen if your overclock is unstable, or if you've had crashes and had to reset the BIOS sometimes enabling or disabling certain BIOS options and ending up with different things enabled than when you first activated can cause this like LAN or Audio settings (Making windows think it's a new motherboard)
