    Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5 CPU fan header current rating

    Hello everyone,

    I was wondering what the current (amperage) rating is on the CPU fan header on a gigabyte 990fxa-ud5 board.

    I cant say for sure maybe you might want to try and send Lsdmeasap a pm or wait until he can respond. But I believe almost all gigabyte boards can handle 0.5 amp. Dont quote me on this but I am sure this is what lsd has send in the past about other models. I know most boards sysfan_2 only supports 5v so a 12v fan will run at half speed.

      Thanks for your quick reply. I'm hoping it is higher than .5amps because I want to run two 0.35amp fans off of the cpu header form my corsair A70.
