  • GA-P55-UD5 F11C BIOS - RAM Command Rate changes from 1N To 2N?

I am wondering if there will be a BIOS update for the GA-P55-UD5 (rev.1) from F11c that will address S3 sleep state.

I have manually set all my RAM timings in BIOS with the exception of RTL (Round Trip Latency) set to auto.

So Here is the problem I am getting. After I have set all my timings manually in BIOS and upon entering S3 sleep state
my memory timing, specifically CR (Command Rate) Changes from 1N to 2N. All other setting seem to stick.

Additionally, I will receive the pesky "HAL - The platform firmware has corrupted memory across the previous system power transition. Please check for updated firmware for your system." error in the event log.

Does this mean I can only use the XMP profile and not tweak the memory?

Any resolution to this would be helpful or comment on OC the RAM to resolve this would be helpful.

Re: GA-P55-UD5 F11C BIOS - RAM Command Rate changes from 1N To 2N?

Update: After rechecking BIOS settings i found that i had XMP profile loaded with manually set values. I have now set BCLK to 200MHz. This has not fixed S3.

Re: GA-P55-UD5 F11C BIOS - RAM Command Rate changes from 1N To 2N?

You need to manually set timings,9.9.9.27-1T

If your getting cold boot issues its probably not enough voltage, you can raise dram voltage one click more than 1.5v

What qpi/vtt voltage you using? If auto what's it using? May need 1.25-1.3v with 2000mhz speed

Computer is perfectly stable with these settings, even after S3. However, Command Rate dropping to 2N degrades performance.
