MSI is saying publicy that Gigabyte doesnt have genuine PCI-E gen 3.0 support on most of their motherboards. They are saying that only the G1 Sniper 2 board has true PCI-E 3.0 support, and the other 40 boards that say "Ready for Native PCIe Gen. 3." dont have the proper components to enable true PCI-E 3.0.
This issue is being reported around various websites, is Gigabyte going to put out a statement on the issue?
MSI made some slides to say that Gigabyte is being dishonest or at least mistaken:
