UPDATE: It 'Blue Screens/Crashes' as soon as I start Prime95, other than that it runs great-
I built my brothers' pc with the Z68XP-UD5
On my rig, I manually configure the CPU Voltage, DRAM Voltage & Timings, I never use EasyTune 6-
He is semi-noob though, & really isn't interested in learning the BIOS, but he likes the 'ease' of the Gigabyte QuickBoost feature-
I currently have his BIOS set at 'Default'-
The problem is 'most', if not all settings are on 'AUTO', and it appears that the voltages fluctuate and are inconsistent when checked wih TouchBios, CPU-Z, & HWMonitor-
Question: Are the CPU/DRAM Voltages 'safe' when using QuickBoost at both the 'Default' & 'Optimal' BIOS settings?
Thanks! -al
Also, is it best to just load the BIOS at 'Default' for best 'performance' when installing the OS for the first time?
He has the 2600K, 16GB Corsair Vengeance, and the Z68XP-UD5
