  • SATA3 6GB/s HDD not recognized

I have a z68 Fatal1ty professional gen3 mobo. The motherboard will not recognize my 6gb sata3 1TB WD HDD. It picked up my 120GB SATA3 SDD fine and if I hook up an old sata2 it recognizes it just fine. The data cable is hooked up to the intel sata3 ports on the mobo, but only the sata2 HDD works. I RMA'd the HDD and Newegg sent me a new one. Same issue. This is the connection right under the the one used for my sata3 SDD. Am I missing something here? Any help would be appreciated.
