GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 Raid(XHD) and TRIM question

I was wondering if I changed my PCH SATA Control Mode to RAID(XHD) if TRIM would be supported in the following configuration:

Stand alone: 1 x SSD for OS

RAID5 set for SSD Caching: 3 x 1TB drive + 1 x SSD for XHD

5 drives total

all on the intel chipset.

Assuming it doesn't...would it be best to put my OS SSD on the Marvell controller? I hope my question was clear. Thanks in advance.

AFAIK TRIM should work for the single non-raid OS SSD

That's what I was thinking. I thought TRIM may have an issue since you must change the PCH SATA Control Mode setting to RAID(XHD) instead of AHCI.
