Best DX11 Video Card under $100?

My old video card (ATI 2600 HD) is incompatible with Battlefield 3, so it's time to upgrade.

Please let me know what is the best video card (DX11) I can get below $100.

My MOBO is Asrock G41M VS3 R2.0 and my monitor is DELL 1280x1024.

for ati cards i would say the 5770 at that res you will run all the top games fine,used prices are even lower and look out for cheap 5870 cards if you can bag one,they are double the performance of a single 5770 however the little 5770 is pretty strong

i dont think it will be powerfull enough,for a start it uses ddr3 memory and 5770 uses faster ddr5,dont you like the 5770 cards? they are the same as 6 series cards performance wise

Thanks for the explanation wazza, I didn't see the technology behind the memory. I have a nasty habit to think that if the version number is higher the card is better. I'm not experienced with video cards at all. I've had like 3 different cards during my lifetime.

i had the sapphire vapor x 5770 before this card and it runs really well,if you click my youtube link you will see all the top games running fine,it was at slightly lower res than you play at but it will be plenty powerfull enough for what you need,i would go for either the 5770 or th 6770,any other cards will cost more and i dont think you will get better than those for the $$,but its up to you

Are you serious about lowering the resoution? I mean for a 1280x1024 screen.

no i meant i played at lower res,you will be fine at your res,i had an older monitor at the time,now i have 1920x1080 monitor

theres not much difference,the vapor x uses different chokes on the board that run cooler and uses a vapor cooling pad so the chip runs 4-5c cooler,but the standard 5770 will be fine

the 5770 will handle 1280x1024 no problem

Between Sapphire Radeon HD5770 Vapor and Sapphire Radeon HD6770. Which one would you buy? They are pretty much the same price.

I think that their Vapor models have a better cooling setup.
Check out web reviews for both models to help determine which card is better.

the cheapest one,but depends whether you want used or new?both cards are equal performance wise
