  • ANybody have a working A75M-HVS motherboard? Getting the 124 bluescreen error in win7.

I'm just fed up right now, so i'm posting again hoping someone will tell me what i'm doing wrong. I have the latest bios installed and every setting is factory. Tried 3 sets of 1333 ram and even another new hd right out of the box. I have even had it crash during win 7 install, 64 bit edition. I stress tested with prime 95 and when it hit 60c i stopped and added fresh thermal paste and now it maxes at 54. I'm desparate so I even tried new keyboard and mouse because I was using old ones. I will get the blue screen at random times with load and without. I have formatted etc and installed every possible windows update. I really need advice from someone that has a fully working system and can tell me if theres some voltage settings I need to change etc?
I will be trying another cpu on the motherboard soon.

Normally with BSOD error 0x0124 for intel cpus/motherboards this would be qpi/vtt voltage that needs to be adjusted. This needs to be adjusted when adding larger amounts of ram ie 8gb 12gb, also when ram speed is raised this voltage is needed to be changed. I dont know exactly what this voltage would be called on a AMD system but that is most likely what is needed to stop BSODing.

I am going to try messing with the voltage tonight. I read on some other posts that with amd chipsets you have to turn off dual channel mode. Going to see if I can try that later tonight also. I am confused about dual channel memory cause I read about unganged mode then Bank interleaving or something like that.

Sorry for late post. It just all seemed to be my copy of windows. The copy I had only offers to be installed with EMS support. I bought another copy and it works fine now.
