x79 bios update fail

Hiya's
Recently I purchased an ASRock X79 Extreme4,a i7 3820 and 16gigs of g.skill sniper 1600

Due to randon freezes I decided to update to the latest Bios from the ASRock site being the L1.81a Since updating the board will not post at all stopping with AF (exit boot services event) displayed on Dr Debug display,I have since searched with no result to find a solution and am hoping to receive some assistance here.

Located in Sydney Australia so ringing the ASRock hotline is not an option :(

try leaving mb battery out for half an hour,then try

if the worse comes to the worst you can buy a pre flashed bios chip,id suggest asking it to be flashed with the previous bios that worked,then pull the chip and pop in the new one

if your having random freezing it could be a bios/voltage issue esp the vtt or dram voltages

Got a chip from ebay thx :) Here Great service,recommended :)

NOW (lol) i get "1394 GUID is invalid at bios and flash" on boot and have to press f1 to continue,any ideas ?
