Too hot for a P8P67pro/2600k setup?

CPU cooling by an Asetek 570LX. I notice the ASUS suite is showing a good 10C cooler than everything else. I am assuming this is since the temp is closer to Tcase rather than individual cores. From what I've read, Intel recommends a max of 72C Tcase. Would this mean that I am OK here? I am actually thinking about replacing the two 120mm fans on the Asetek to start (I've already redone the paste with minimal change).

your fine with those temps,they are warm for 4.2ghz though,idk how good that cooler is but maybe look for a high end one like the noctua or phanteks?

Everything looks fine to me. Yeah a better cooler might help but you are still fine. The most important thing here to look at is the core temps, no software can give you true CPU temps as you would have to cut a grove in the cpu or cooler and run a temp probe to the dead center of the cpu to see the cpu temp. The sensor that software reads for cpu temp is located near or under the cpu socket. You can still use this sensor as a guide but dont think its written in stone. Also TJmax should be hit at or before Tcase is hit unless your cooler is half falling off, but you would see this in core temps also.
