A simple question - I hope. I've just installed a new Gigabyte Z68MA-D2H-B3 Motherboard, but neither of he sound cards I had will fit into the expansion slot. Does anyone have a recommendation for a card (not expensive) that will fit?

Your sound card will NOT fit, it uses the older PCI slot format.
Your motherboard does NOT support PCI slots, it only supports PCI-e slots.
You will need to use the on-board audio or buy a newer PCI-e sound card.Q9650 @ 4.10GHz [9x456MHz]
