  • Having Problem installing Raid 0 Drivers on x79extreme 9 on Os w7 64bit

I'm looking for a solution in installing the raid drivers into window 7 64bit Os
Whens I try loading the Rste file it tells me device driver could not be installed. Contact your vendor for an updated driver.but for some reason it accepts the 32bit version of the driver.

    Rtse versions used
    V3.1.0.1085 from asrock website
    V3.0.0.2003 from asrock disk
And the latest raid driver from intel

    bios version
    P2.20
    OPROM version 3.0.0.1184

Anybody with tip and advice or solutions please help me thanks

Re: Having Problem installing Raid 0 Drivers on x79extreme 9 on Os w7 64bit

      I have solved this problem

      Steps
      1. make a bootable window7 usb
      2. unplug all sata. beside your raid array sata3_0 sata3_1
3.while you are in your window 7 installation page it will ask you to load your RSTE drivers
4 this is when you'll encounter a new problem saying that your 64bit driver is unsigned, this is when you need to go back select the 32bit version of windows 7 and load the 32bit driver. then once its loaded you'll see your raid, press the close button and go back to select the 64bit version of windows 7 and load the 64bit version of the RSTe( it will tell you got an unsigned driver just ignore it) you will see you'll still have the uncollated disk
      5. proceed on installing your windows as normal

      hope this helps
