    GA-Z77X-UD5H "04" code - what does it mean???

    Manual says that error code is reserved. Have you tried to clear cmos short and long? Try with minimal hardware, 1 stick ram no GPU 1 hdd, no USB devices?

              I would suggest doing a cmos clear and loading optimized defaults and see if it continues. Maybe reflash bios, Also make sure backup bios and main bios have same bios version installed.

                Thx will try, but since we have debug screen should we have list of all codes and what does it mean or at lest in which direction to dig?

                  Manual has all the codes listed, but for this code the only info is reserved. I have sent a email to my contact at gigabyte and ask him if they have any more info on it. I am waiting to hear back from him on this.

                      the D would be lower case then, as it would be too hard to tell D and 0 apart, so it is 0.

                      Some codes are reserved for internal testing like 8_ they are used for debugging if an odd codes come in. So does your board hang on that? Or it just says it while you are in windows or something?
