Hello all,
I just bought a new mobo (asrock z77 extreme 3).
And everything works great except for the audio.
The sound-card doesn't detect when I plug in the speakers or headphones (neither front or back).
I was able to get sound by turning off jack detection on the front panel, then I have sound both from the speakers(plugged in the back) and the headphones (in the front).
If I turn jack detection back on, the "speaker" panel disappears and the software tells me that I have nothing plugged in.
I tried reinstalling the drivers (realtek, asrock website, cd ...), but that didn't help.
So as long as I turn of the jack detection for the front panel I get sound (both front and back ) otherwise I get nothing.
