ASRock B75 Pro3 Memory Issues

    ASRock B75 Pro3 Memory Issues

    Got this board a week and a half ago and tried to use 2x2gigs of G.Skill RAM. At first the computer wouldn't POST at all so we tried one stick of RAM in the 3rd slot on the mobo. Still wouldn't boot at all so we tried the other stick in the same slot and it booted up fine. We ordered 2 new sticks of 4gig G.Skill and at first both sticks worked as soon as we put them in. However after 8 hours of use the PC blue screened. After a few BSODs, we tried moving the RAM around. PC went back to not posting at all in any order we had the RAM in the board. So we tried 1 stick of RAM in the 3rd slot again and no POST. Tried the other stick and the board booted up fine. What could be going on here? Is the board killing sticks of RAM? Here are the specs:

    ASRock B75 Pro3
    i5 3570k
    2x4g G.Skill
    Corsair 750 watt

    Kinda short with specifics but have you looked at what the bios is setting the ram voltage to?
    #1 - Please, when seeking help, enter the make and model of ALL parts that your system is comprised of in your Signature, or at least the model #'s in your System Specs, then "Save' it.

    #2 - Consider your PSU to be the foundation from which all else is built upon. Anything built upon a weak foundation is poorly built.

        Again, without knowing what specific p/n your memory is I can't say.

        1.585v should be that awful threatening though.

          Should the board do some sort of POST with no memory installed? Cause it just sits at no signal on the monitors.
