I have a H55-USB3 motherboard which had a vertex4 ssd running windows. I was running fine, however, at 128GB it was too small. I had purchased a 256 GB Vetex2 and installed windows 7 on it yesterday.
After a successful install and update, I ran the Windows experience test on the new setup. It hung, and threw a read error and would not quit, forcing me to do a hard reset. After the reboot, the SSD was no longer recognized. I though the drive may have died, so I reinstalled the old Vertex4 SSD and it was not recognized anymore either.
I have tried multiple combinations BIOS(F7) settings and SATA2 ports with both SSDs and still cannot get it to see the drives.
Any suggestions?
