  • Z87X UD5H F5 bios can't get full HD output in EUFI with 560 Ti

When I toggle the screen resolution I get an error message stating something like Full HD not supported in this configuration. I'm outputting display via mini HDMI to my HDMI (1920 x 1200) monitor. The integrated graphics (also over HDMI) have no problem doing HD UEFI. Is this something wrong with the bios or does the 560 ti actually not support hd output in UEFI?

Edit: F6j didn't fix it either.

Edit 2: F6 final bios fixed this issue. F6n with uefi vga bios on the 680 didn't work but F6 release does work. See below to understand what I'm talking about.

Okay so this isn't an issue with the board, I think. It's my understanding that the video card bios needs to be updated to a UEFI bios for the full hd to work. I've emailed EVGA tech support to get the bios.

Maybe with Nvidia cards, I don't know.

Yeah, probably has to do with Nvidia cards. Anyway I got the updated bios but no dice, still can't get 1080p. I give up at this point.

Updated to the F6 release bios from today and the issue is fixed.
