  • Wake up PC with Logitech Harmony Remote with H61M-ITX board

I m looking for a way to automatically start my HTPC with one remote button press on my Logitech Harmony remote 900. Is this possible and if so HOW do i config this exactly?

I own a ASROCK H61M-ITX (ASRock > H61M-ITX). I find in the specs that my motherboard supports ''ACPI 1.1 Compliance Wake Up Events'' but I have no idea what this means and if I can use this for my purpose. I also use Eventghost by the way. Of course I also have a IR receiver that is USB connected to my motherboard

if you want to start/shutdown your computer as you normally would with your remote (= Cold start -> no sleep/hibernate trick) then you need to hook up a special device that you connect to your power supply and motherboard i have one it work great with most Ir remotes (learning function, really really easy to program)

    the one i have:
SIMEREC Universal IR Remote Control PC Power Switch
