Hi,
I have been trying to mod my motherboard BIOS to include the latest RAID rom. I managed to insert ahci.BIN and RAID850.BIN but when I try to insert UI850.bin (misc.bin), cbrom gives me the following message:
Combine UI850.bin file to 88gmad22.f5...
UI850.bin doesn't compress
I asked Fernando but he said that in this BIOS misc.bin must be uncompressed before I try to insert it because cbrom tries to compress it during the insertion process. Needless to say, I don't have uncompressed version of misc.bin.
Is there any feasible way for me to do that or I'd better forget about it? Honestly, I had given up already before I was advised by ser2k2 to raise my question here. Any help with this would be appreciated.
If someone wants to give it a try, attached are the 3 modules that need to be replaced. This is link to the original bios:
