H87N Motherboard and USB3 Driver issue

Hi Guys,
My Father has just built a PC with this motherboard a Gigabyte H87N-WiFi.
After installing the Intel USB3 driver the actual USB ports do not work once we get to the Windows login.
Does anybody have any advice about this issue?

were the drivers off gigabyte website for that board? just thinking as some boards use different controllers

I tried both the driver CD that came with the Motherboard and the gigabyte website. No luck D:

Will either of these drivers work if the CPU is a fourth Gen model? I noticed the second link was for an intel board?

they should both work intel just means its for an intel usb3 controller on the motherboard itself

What OS are you using?

If you are using Windows 8, there are three Microsoft "Hotfixes" for "USB 3.0 device compatibility", which are listed on your board's download page for Windows 8 drivers. You must select the OS before they are displayed, and then scroll down:

GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1150 - GA-H87N-WIFI (rev. 1.x)

Which USB 3.0 ports do not work, on the boards I/O panel, or on the PC case?
