I have a 4770k w/ a ASRock Extreme 4 Z87 board and I'm not able to figure out any way to get my usb drive to appear as a boot device. I have tried USB2 and USB3 ports as well as front-access ports in my case. I've tried creating the bootdisk in several different ways (Rufus, Windows recovery, etc) and the boot disk seems to work on other PCs just fine. I've flashed the most recent UEFI.... What do I do next???

Re: Z87 Extreme 4 Not Recognizing USB Boot Drive
Have you, by any chance, set your boot option to "Fast Boot" in BIOS?
If you have, you will be unable to boot from a USB device of any sort.
