Is Intel Core i7-4790K compatible with Asrock G41M VS3 R2.0

I'm planning to replace my old Quad Core Q6600 2.4 Ghz with the new Intel Core i7-4790K, my motherboard is Asrock G41M VS3 R2.0.

Will this motherboard be able to recognize the processor along with the current Windows 8 installation?

Any considerations before the purchase?

You'll need a new motherboard, my friend...

Q6600 uses Socket 775, the i7-4790K uses Socket 1150...
