    Gigabyte Z97X-SOC : PCIex16 not working

    Just this motherboard yesterday. My GTX780 does not work in the top x16 PCI slot. I moved the card to the x4 slot bellow and it works fine. Tried reinstalling the card in the x16 slot multiple times. No go. I have the latest F5 bios. In the bios I chose PCIe 1 in the init display menu. Does not change anything. In another bios menu I chose Gen 3 PCIe (tried them all). Same thing. I think the PCIex16 slot is broken. Do someone have a clue ?

    any other pcie slot to try? next one down from top slot?

      The PCIe x4 bellow works fine but no matter what I try the PCIex16 is a no go. Preparing an advanced with my seller.
