My system would not start the other day. No error beeps no post. I did a cmos clear and it booted right up. After the cmos clear I went to configure the system in bios. I can no longer set the overclock speed in the bios. The multiplier is set at 37 and if I change it any higher it immediately changes to 37 in the box in the bios. Even if I use a preset profile, the cpu will not change speed to the preset profile. Also the xmp profiles for ram are not present anymore. My ram can now only be set to 1333 mhz.
Before the cmos clear I had cpu set to 41 multiplier and xmp 1600 ram. It ran like that for 3 months through stress test benchmarking etc and confirmed through cpuz utility. So why all of a sudden does the bios no longer let me change the settings? I have the latest bios installed. Pc works fine otherwise.
