  • ASRock 970 Pro 3 R2.0 and wireless pci adapter problem

Hi guys. On my old system, which was AM2+ based, i had installed a TP-LINK WN751ND V1.0 PCI wireless adapter which worked without any problem using the most recent drivers. Recently I upgraded to a FX6300 + ASRock 970 Pro3 2.0 system and installed the same card on it with some strange behaviour under Windows 7 x64 (which i had also installed on my old pc).
When i power up the system and the OS boots, it detects the card and everything works as it should, showing WiFi networks and all. If i do a warm reboot the card gets recognized by the BIOS and the OS but it doesn't work anymore, no WiFi, nothing. The system just sees that it's there but can't get it to work.
I tried to update drivers, using also the Atheros ones (chip manufacturer) getting the same behaviour.
The strange thing is if i do a cold reboot (shutdown + power up) the card works again.
I'm thinking it may be MB/power related, having some sort of conflict on reboot. I don't know.
