Hi,
First post and in real problems with my VX6.
Replaced the harddisk with a Samsung EVO 840 500Gb.
Followed the opening of the laptop via youtube video and that worked ok.
Replaced the HD with the SSD.
Also replace the Wireless card with Intel real N capable card.
Connected everything including memory cards.
First time start..........nothing.
Bios will not start.
Power button flashes approx 2 times per second. Very low light flashing. Pressing reset button shows the regular bright light on the power on button.
On the front leds:
Lamp indictior : flashing in same rythm as the power on button
HD indicator: same as lamp.
Opened the laptop again and notice the blower tries to start in same rythm as the power on is flashing but seems somewhere the process of bios boot is restarted (i think).
Don't know if i was using bios booster (no read it had to be off before replacing hardware).
Disconnected the battery for some hours already, pressed the power on for minutes to clear the CMOS but still nothing.
In older models of the Asus EEE there was a CLR / BAT place on the motherboard where one could force the BIOS CMOS to be cleared and to be in full reset. Can't find this on the 1215N/VX6 motherboard.
Any help resolving this issue is highly appreciated.
