i have xp corp. installed on a laptop and the hard drive has some bad sectors but i was able to format and install xp. everything works great, except everytime i start the computer a screen comes up saying it is going to run "disk checking"? unless i cancel it by hitting any key within 10 seconds. my question is, can i keep it from running this at every startup? the laptop runs fine otherwise. thanks in advance.
