system lagging

hello,
i recently bought a new asus laptop R558U with specs : intel core i5-6200U, 8gb ram, win 10, nvidia 2gb 930m.
its just a week old. but lagging alot. i just found out that the disk usage is 100%. searched google for various solutions and tried which i found relevant, but no help.
i still have the same issue.

Disable the background processes... Defrag the HDD. try without network.

yes it came 4GB ram i had it upgraded to 4 more ...
i guess there is an extra slot for upgrading.
