I have a Gainward Geforce4 Ti4200 with tv out and NO DVI. I want to run dual monitors and I have searched everywhere for an answer. So far I've come to the conclusion that because I only have ONE analog connector, I have to get this thing called "Y-see two" http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...p?sku=P55-1012 . Is there another way for me to use my nView? I really don't want to spend and extra 60 dollars to use my extra monitor.

As far as I know, the s-video will not convert properly to a monitor signal. It is very strange that your card didn't come with the three outputs, as most Geforce cards have been doing so since the Geforce3 range.
As for the Y cable, I'm with Wiggo on that one. It looks, to me, like it simply duplicates the signal on each output. So you've basically be mirroring the output on two screens. Unless done so by the manufacturer, you won't be able to get two different outputs on the one connection. It just can't send two different signals from the one place.

This is just depressing now...I don't want to go and buy another card. Should I just go the PCI & AGP video card route? I have a 3dfx voodoo 3 pci somewhere. How does this affect gameplay of an FPS such as Counter-Strike? Will I be using both monitors while playing?
