Afternoon all:
Have a Lian Li PC-Y6A arriving Saturday and am looking for a suitable power supply. The form factor is SFX: which is supposed to be 3.93w x 4.92l x 2.51h and Corsair, Thermaltake and Silverstone have several offerings in that size, but are limited to 600w. There is a 700 watt and an 800 watt Silverstone available, but they are SFX-L at 3.93w 5.12l x 2.51h, which ostensibly won't fit (don't have the unit yet to measure). But to further confuse the issue is the Lian Li PE-750 750 watt SFX Active PFC Power Suppy, which is labeled as SFX but the dimensions are again 2.51" x 4.92" x 5.12". The Lian Li looks to be a very nice offering for power and 80 Plus Platinum certification on the EGG except for the discrepancy in size and SFX standard. Does anyone have any knowledge or familiarity with the PC-Y6 and power supplies?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
