  • Processer transfer help pleaze!

    I was wondering, i just bought a new mobo and was wanting instructions on how to take my existing mobo and transwer it to the new mobo. I might be really simple, I dont know. I have never tryied. Thanx for the help

    You don't transfer the old motherboard to the new one. You just hook up everything from the old system to the new mainboard and go from there. But be forewarned, if the chipset of the new motherboard is not the same as the old one, you will likely have to reinstall Windows. This has to do with the fact that different chipsets (the controlling modules on the motherboards) communicate to Windows in different manners. It is pretty common for the system to crash when a new motherboard is installed due to this different means of communicating.
