I just installed norton internet sercurity and cant access
the web with my firewall enabled !!

can any one help ??:)

Did you go through all of the installation steps to include allowing NIS to scan your system for internet accessible software applications? If not then you can set it up by double clicking the green globe that appears in the system tray. From there, choose the second tab on the left labeled "Personal Firewall" and then click on the choice labeled "Internet Access Control". This will allow you to configure your firewall.

I went into internet options and permited the necessary apps
and turned it on but still cant access Help!!

Silly question, but do you have another software based (or hardware based for that matter) firewall in place? Many will act up if they are conflicting with another manufacturer's product.

Another silly question...but by any chance did you block TCP traffic?
I once did it with my Sygate...silly me
