I have PC2700 RAM which is supposed to be able to run at 333MHz and it says it's running at 180MHz when i start up. In my bios i have it set to 125% the cpu external frequency. since it's PC2700 does this mean i can set it to 200% the fsb to make it 288MHz? and if so, will this do any good for my performance?

Agreed. If everything runs fine with no instabilities, then let it rock on. I also believe I saw you use an Active Memory Cooler for your memory? If so, then you have little to worry about. As a matter of fact, you may even be able to boost the voltage a touch on the memory and go even higher! :DOld age and treachery will overcome youth and skill
