P3b-f Mobo

I have a P3b-F mobo

It had a power surge which fried the hdd and the power supply that I can tell.

replaced the power supply video hdd ram with good stuff but no matter what I try I still can't see or access the cmos/bios

I am getting error codes!!!!!!!!!

1 llong 1 short

It has an award chip

pdf manual is hundreds of useless pages long.

How do I reset the cmos/bios

Please don't suggest floppy i can't get that far.

Is the mobo fried?

I have a green led no blinking on the mobo.

the only thing I haven't replaced is the CPU its a slot1

My understanding of award bios beep error codes is that it is usuallly ram or video errors that will set it of.:cheers:

there is ussually a clear CMOS jumper on the board somewhere, i dont have the manual so i cant tell u where it is exacly but this is what i found about the error codes hope this helps this info came from my mobos manual the p3v4x same bios

Beep - Currently the only beep code indicates that a video error has occurred and the BIOS cannot initialize the video screen to display any additional information. This beep code consists of a single long beep followed by two short beeps. Any other beeps are probably a RAM problem
