CS incompatible with dual monitors?

Does Counter-Strike not work when you have dual monitors? I hear that most of these older games aren't able to be played when you have dual monitors.

i can't say i've heard of someone running cs on more then one monitor. Maybe there is a patch that will support multi screens. good luck:smokin:

I dont particularily want to run the game on both screens simultaneously, but my technologically competent friend told me that if I have a dual monitor set up, the game won't play at all.

well it can work, it depends on the video card/drivers

from my experience, nvidia cards generally cause halflife to crash when loading if a second display is enabled, however matrox/ati cards dont mind so much, i havent yet tried with a 2 card setup so i cannot be certain if a AGP/PCI combo setup would work or not.
