  • The Bugs of DOOOOOOM!!! (56k warning)

    Oh, what a lovely day. I rocked up to work this morning and was greeted by the following:

    <img src="http://www.netspace.net.au/~kruger/bugs50.jpg">
    <img src="http://www.netspace.net.au/~kruger/bugs51.jpg">
    <img src="http://www.netspace.net.au/~kruger/bugs54.jpg">
    <img src="http://www.netspace.net.au/~kruger/bugs56.jpg">
    <img src="http://www.netspace.net.au/~kruger/bugs58.jpg">

    Managed to spot what looked to be the mother of the lot.. or one that was 3 times the size of the rest:
    <img src="http://www.netspace.net.au/~kruger/mummy.jpg">

    It's so much fun sitting down, drinking your morning coffee and hearing all these bugs crawling along the floor and through the roof... And the glee of seeing them fall out of the air conditioning duct in the roof and smacking onto the newspaper you are trying to read. :)

    Finally, <a href="http://www.netspace.net.au/~kruger/bugtown.mpg">here's</a> a little video clip of some of the little *******s outside.. (1.3MB)

    Just wait til they start to smell. :(

                  Good work with the cam there Beefy, i just managed to scare the crap outa da missus.... lol

                  I'll guess that is the only good thing about the extreme cold we are experiencing in this small country atm, not a single bug as far as i can see. Actually we don't have mutch nasty bugs any time of the year.

                  :cheers:

                            it aint that hard to get rid of em. they come round about this time each year, they are attracted to lights, so all businesses that have security lights are flooded with em in the morining, all ya can do is vacuum them up in the morning, in a coupla weeks they will be gone for another year, but they burrow under the carpet and into the walls, and they rot and smell really bad. but beef does work around uni students so it prolly wont smell all that different

                              and yeah, the students do smell pretty bad...
