Learning PHP?

Hi guys (and gals if ya reading this ;)),

I want to go about learning PHP, so, i was wondering if anyone knows of any good PHP books, or any good and free websites that start from the beginning. oh, and i do know HTML and i've got my linux machine with apache up and runing, so all i need now is to learn it...
