yeah, i heards its gonna be a total monopoly, to run any EA games (they have the best FPS ever) your gonna need a nVIDIA card otherwise they wont run (and yes BF1942 is best FPS ever)

Preferred just means that. Don't worry, EA would be absolutely moronic to block a large number of potential customers just because they use ATi cards, and of course they won't. That's not what this release says. It's just a marketing deal, so the impact on gamers of all pursuasions will be minimal.
